A pregnant woman with red hair and glasses standing outside on a sunny day, wearing a light blue jacket, a patterned dress, black leggings, and maroon boots. Behind her is an old stone building, a grassy area, some trees, and a black metal fence. There are people, bicycles, and outdoor seating in the background.

My story

FEDANT National Register Entry Number [14042]

Hi, I’m Helen, a former journalist and TV producer who decided to swap the bright lights of the showbiz world to follow my passion about all things pregnancy and baby-related and empower new parents as they enter this pivotal transition in their life.

After having my daughter in 2022, I was struck by how little information and support parents are given about the postnatal period. I want to change this, and nurture you and your blooming family as you grow together.

I have studied with The Perinatal Academy and am a FEDANT-accredited Antenatal Educator. FEDANT is the professional regulator for those working in the antenatal and postnatal sector. My FEDANT registration confirms that the qualification and safety evidence accepted for my register category has been assessed by FEDANT and I maintain the standards applicable to my registration. You can check my FEDANT National Registration using my name or National Registration Number: 14042.

I also volunteer with Mindful Mums in Bexley - a peer-support group for new mums to support their emotional and mental health and wellbeing. They also run a pregnancy support group. Click here or drop me a line for more information.

  • "Helen is open, impartial and supportive. I would highly recommend Bud to Baby, it's a wonderful opportunity to get into the right headspace around looking after yourself during pregnancy, preparing for birth and giving yourself the best possible foundation for thriving postpartum."

  • "I went to one of Helen’s events and it was so helpful! She was really informative and friendly, and sent me lots of resources following the event."
